The Rotary Club of Pantai Valley (Club Number:31576) was Chartered on 14th May, 1996, then under District Governor David Ho.
Currently serving with 53 members, we have since met every Monday (6.30pm) at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club along Jalan Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our members consist of business owners, lawyers, doctors, accountants and professional senior managers. We have 13 Women Rotarians.
While our club is in it's 11th year, many of our seasoned Rotarians have more than a decade of Rotary experience, serving a variety of leadership positions in the Rotary District 3300 , as well as other professional and service organisations.
We are in District 3300, which comprise all states in Malaysia from Negeri Sembilan, all the way up North of the Peninsular Malaysia.
PDG David Ho launched our website (electronic presence) on 2 Dec 1996.

OBJECT OF ROTARY

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
THIRD. The application of the ideals of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business, and community life.
FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional men united in the ideals of service. |
