International Exchange to RC Bukit Timah and RC Pandan Valley Aug 2007

27 – 29 July 2007. Trip down to Singapore to attend Rotary Club of Bukit Timah Installation dinner
We started our journey by at 7.00am to reach Singapore by noon to attend Rotary Club of Pandan Valley’s meeting in Hyatt Singapore. A group of us including PP Michael Foong, Rtn Siow Hong, PP Lawrence Tan, IPP Chee Hong, Rtn Arthur & spouse and Rtn Lay Yeong attended the meeting. It was a lunch meeting, where we witnessed the club installing a new member by President Richard. We were seated at the same table as 2 PDGs and the food was great, as what PP Michael kept saying. Meeting was adjourned at 2.00pm.

We also attended the installation dinner of Rotary Club of Bukit Timah at Keppel Club around 7.30pm. We were hosted with great dinner and wine. President Henry Lim and spouse led a group of handicapped dancers and graced us with dances that really wowed us. There was also a magic show where our member Rtn Jim Looi participated as a volunteer. IPP Chee Hong represented our club to deliver a thank you speech. The dinner was adjourned around 11.00pm.

The next day, President Henry Lim & spouse together with their members hosted a dinner for us at Crystal Jade Chinese Restaurant in Vivo City. The place & the food was delightful, as was our host President Henry & spouse.
We returned the next day and reached KL around 6.30pm.
