15 July 2007 – International fellowship dinner at Rtn Lay Yeong’s residence
A fellowship dinner was specially organized for all our foreign visitors after the P. Ketam visit at my place. This was done in a more casual manner, where members can drink and talk in a more casual environment as well as mingle around with the members of our sister clubs. The dinner started around 7.30pm and ended around 11.00pm. A BBQ dinner spread was served along with drinks, liquors, beers and wines.
There were a total of 8 members from our sister clubs who attended this international fellowship dinner with 5 from Taiwan and 3 from Philippines. RCPV members who attended the dinner include President Ian Homer & family, Rtn Peggy, Rtn Margaret, PP Esther, Rtn James Lim, Rtn James Ooi, Rtn Carsten & spouse, PP Lawrence Tan & spouse, Rtn Lam Pheng, Rtn Vincent Lau & family, Rtn Peter Ng & son, Rtn Charlie Chong, Rtn Keng, Rtn James Tan & fiancé, IPP Chee Hong, PP Charlie Lim & family, Rtn Arthur & spouse, Siong Woan & kids, Rtn Lay Yeong & family.
A special thanks to Rtn Ai Lin, Rtn Margaret, IPP Chee Hong for sponsoring the wines, and other members (sorry, I can’t remember all) who brought liquors and provided transport to our foreign visitors.
