The Rotary Club of Sri Petaling which was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Pantai Valley holds its Inaugural Meeting as a Rotary Club today. It received its Charter Certificate on 29^th June 2006 during IPDG Dr Ken Khoo’s year. The club which was launched on 16^th November 2005 submitted its application to Rotary International on 16^th June 2006 after meeting as a Provisional Club for 7 months. The club meets at Level 2, Board Room, Hotel Sri Petaling at 7pm to 8.30pm on Wednesdays.

It has 21 members -majority of whom worked or lived in Sri Petaling. This new club locality spans the corridor of Old Klang Road on the south & edge of the Kesas highway on the north and includes Taman OUG, Taman Yarl, Bukit OUG, Bandar Baru Seri Petaling and surrounding areas of Old Klang Road/Kesas Highway. The membership classification include:-

Property/ Financial Planning/Mapping/Data Acquisition/Planning & Design/Photogrammetry/Land Surveying/Investment Banking/Housing Development/IT/Multimedia/Investment Planning/Office Supplies/Marketing/Project Management & Business Development.

Its Charter President is Tuan Haji Nordin Sabran, Secretary Rtn Foo Say Joon & Treasurer Rtn Laang Jhe How.
