MOBILE CLINIC HANDOVER AMIDST BEATS OF KOMPANG & AIR MAWAR BLESSINGS
Nov 26th, 2005 - Taman Melawati Saturday:- The Rotary Club of Pantai Valley officially handed over a Mobile Clinic to MP for Gombak, YB Datuk Dr Rahman Ismail at the Pusat Perkhidmatan Ahli Parlimen Gombak (PPAPG) this evening. The mobile clinic was made possible via a Matching Grant between the Rotary Club of Big Bear, California, the Rotary Foundation and Rotary Club of Pantai Valley. This project will benefit the community of Gombak and its vicinity in providing medical aid and better healthcare. The project was mooted by IPP Michael Foong and coordinated by Project Chairman PE Chan Chee Hong.
President Charlie Lim signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the Club and YB Datuk Dr Rahman Ismail for PPAPG. The hand-over and signing ceremony was .witnessed by more than 500 guests from the community.
The event was attended by the Club’s Rotary Foundation Chairperson Rtn Ai Lin, PP Lawrence Tan, PE Chan Chee Hong and his Ann, Rtn Dr Arthur Samuel, Rtn Ivan Christie, Rtn Sarah Foo, IPP Michael Foong and President Charlie.
