Vocational Visit to Royal Selangor Pewter Factory
Rotarians turn craftsmen for a day

At 10am more than 50 Rotarians and Friends gathered at the factory of Royal Selangor Pewter. We were given a special tour by Jason Christie. This tour took us through the "state of the art" latest factory of Royal Selangor Pewter. As part of the visit to the pewter center, we had the opportunity to make our own pewter bowls at the "schools of hard knocks". We were also later welcomed by Datin Paduka Chen (one of the owners) of the company. To cap of the visit, we were treated to the famous old Ampang Yong Tau Foo in Ampang old town by PP Lawrence Tan. Congratulations Vincent ! It was a very enjoyable and educational vocational visit.
